- AVG Anti-Virus - If you are looking for a free and reliable anti-virus program, I would recommend AVG Anti-Virus by Grisoft. This company has a proven reputation of being stable, up to date, and thorough with it's' software. What I like most about their software is the fact that it does not drain system resources like other anti-virus programs and yet it is always running. Personally, I have never had a virus (that I know of), that AVG has not caught. AVG integrates into your email, has a scheduler for both running scans and up dating itself, and is small enough that it does not noticeable slows down your system. Best of all, its free. They do have a professional version which you can pay for; however for most, the free version is sufficient enough.

- AVG Anti-Virus - This is the web site for AVG Anti-Virus. This is a completely free anti-virus programme with no ads or anything. It also includes free lifetime updates. Some universities use it, Lander University here in SC uses it so it is legit. I use it in addition to other anti-virus software, it works great.

- Offline NT Password & Registry Editor - This is an advanced utility that should only be used by administrators that are comfortable editing the Windows Registry. The following description is taken from the writer's Web site:
This is a utility to (re)set the password of any user that has a valid (local) account on your NT system, by modifying the encrypted password in the registries SAM file. You do not need to know the old password to set a new one. It works offline, that is, you have to shutdown your computer and boot off a floppydisk or CD. The bootdisk includes stuff to access NTFS partitions and scripts to glue the whole thing together. Works with syskey (no need to turn it off, but you can if you have lost the key)
Will detect and offer to unlock locked or disabled out user accounts! It is also an almost fully functional registry editor!
