Requests can no longer be submitted by faculty or staff on a student&#8217;s behalf.<\/p>\n<p>This change helps ensure that reinstatement requests are initiated only by students who intend to return to their course and aligns with the College&#8217;s reinstatement policy. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Please note:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission of a reinstatement request does not guarantee reinstatement.<\/li>\n<li>The course instructor has authority to approve or deny the request.<\/li>\n<li>A $75 reinstatement fee will be assessed for approved reinstatements.<\/li>\n<li>Use the instructor&#8217;s GTC Outlook email address on the form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Reinstatement Request Form is available on the GTC website under Student Records &gt; Student Forms and on Blackboard Institution Page &gt; Student Support &gt;Student Services &amp; Academic Processes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students who wish to be reinstated to a course after being dropped must submit a Reinstatement Request Form.
