It is a very affordable text. This is a great book that walks you through the starting stages of learning Linux through getting certified RHCE. It may be advanced for some readers, but I recommend you consider it for your professional library.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"A Practical Guide to Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Practical-Guide-Fedora-Enterprise-Linux\/dp\/0133477436\/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1470596512&amp;sr=1-4&amp;keywords=mark+g+sobell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\"><strong>A Practical Guide to Fedora and Red Hat\u00ae Enterprise Linux\u00ae, Seventh Edition<\/strong><\/a> by Mark G. Sobell<br \/>\nThis is the textbook we used for IST190 in the 2016 spring semester. It is very thorough. It is an excellent reference book to use while learning Linux.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Linux-Pocket-Guide-Essential-Commands-dp-1098157966\/dp\/1098157966\/ref=dp_ob_title_bk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Linux Pocket Guide<\/strong><\/a> by Daniel J. Barrett<br \/>\nThis book only costs about $19.95 on Amazon. Used copies are available for less. It provides an indexed list and explanation of most of the Linux commands we will be using in IST190. Many IST190 students have bought this little book in years past.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Linux-Command-Shell-Scripting-Bible-dp-1394364946\/dp\/1394364946\/ref=dp_ob_title_bk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Linux Command Line and Shell Scripting Bible<\/strong><\/a> by Richard Blum<br \/>\nI like the &#8220;Linux Bible&#8221; series of books, but I do not have the current version for Red Hat.
