This semester we have two sections of CPT275.
Section 721 is for Network Administration and Systems Administration students. Students in this section will attend eight class sessions and practice all semester to pass a three-hour Performance Exam which counts for 70% of the overall grade.
Section 722 is for Programming students. Students in this section will divide into teams and work all semester to produce a software application that they can use in their portfolios as an example of work product they can do when working in a team.
Catalog course description: This course includes the design, development, testing, and implementation of an instructor-approved project.
Purpose of the course: This course will provide the student with the opportunity to utilize the concepts and skills from previous coursework to analyze and develop a real-life project. This project will also allow the student to be a participant in a long-term team project and to deal with technical issues where independent research will be required.
